Wild Frontier Ecology is experienced and skilled in conducting a wide range of protected species surveys. Our herpetology experts are licensed by Natural England to survey for protected species such as the great crested newts. We are trained in capturing and handling lizards, slow-worms and snakes (including adders). |

Great crested newt surveys: waterbody assessments, presence/ absence surveys and population estimates. We apply all recognised great crested newt survey techniques including bottle trapping, egg searches, torchlight surveys, net surveys and terrestrial searches.
