Mary has over eight years’ experience as an ecological consultant at Wild Frontier, specialising in bats. She holds a level 2 survey licence for bats, is a qualified tree climber, and is proficient in applying for and running bat European Protected Species (EPS) mitigation licences.
Mary is also WFE’s badger specialist and has worked on a number of projects requiring bait marking studies, artificial sett construction and sett closures. She also holds survey licences for great crested newts and barn owls and works with clients to design mitigation for these species.
Mary has experience in surveying for and designing mitigation for reptiles, water voles, and more recently Schedule 8 plants. She has a keen interest in botany and is developing her survey skills in this area. Mary is proficient in project management, GIS mapping, report writing and reviewing documents for quality control.
