Ptolemy joined WFE in January 2019 following a previous role as a ranger with the National Trust on the Farne Islands.
Ptolemy was involved in seabird monitoring on the Farnes and has carried this out in previous roles at the Long Nanny Little Tern Site in Northumberland and on the Isle of May.
While at WFE he has gained experience in a range of bird surveys including vantage point and nesting bird checks. Ptolemy has also assisted with bat and great crested newt surveys and is keen to progress with licences and ecological work.
