Many Local Planning Authorities will require arboricultural assessment of a site before consenting a development. Wild Frontier Ecology provide, through a group of associate arboriculturalists with approx. 80 years combined experience, specialist advice and full arboricultural survey, assessment and reporting services to BS5837:2005 for all development planning purposes. We can also provide tree condition for health and safety purposes and specialist advocacy with regard to Tree Preservation Orders.
WFE can organise and tailor a survey to produce the range of documents associated with arboriculture, including a Tree Constraints Plan, Arboricultural Impact Assessment, Arboricultural Method Statement, Root Zone Survey, Quantified Tree Risk Assessment or Woodland Management Plan. |

The associates are former local authority officers with considerable private practice experience in both practical and theoretical arboricultural work. They also have very considerable related expertise in development planning, landscape survey, assessment and design, land use and related fields.
The ability to be able to relate arboricultural aspects of development planning to the wider planning process of any development application gives a perspective which is often lacking in other practices. The ability to assist in guiding the design process, based on public and private practice experience, and the ability to anticipate the reaction of local authority Development Control, means that redrafts of designs and layouts to address critical responses from Planning Officers are greatly reduced.
